<BGSOUND src="clips/Sun_Song.mp3"> I have been playing music since I was 8 years old. How long ago was that? Well, let's just say I was old enough to watch the Beatles (who?) on the Ed Sullivan Show (??). I started music on the piano at age 8, wrote my first song at age 10 and played it with my elementary school band that same year. Later on I played bass guitar in various rock bands with such odd names as “RANNSAK” and “KAZIMAR” and of course “PEACE & JOY”. I was fortunate to play with some excellent musicians, most unknown but a few did become semi-famous. Later on I played local cafes and open mic nights as a solo artist performing both my own tunes and cover songs of other artists. I have studied classical guitar with virtuoso classical guitarist and recording artist Joel Brown at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and have studied music theory and composition at Hofstra University on Long Island. I listen to and appreciate lots of different music ranging from jazz to progressive rock to classical. I enjoy perusing the indie music web-sites and discovering new unknown music from all over the world. Since you ended up here, there’s a chance that’s how YOU discovered ME!
